Visited on August 3, 2018, in the afternoon. Located in downtown Alma in a former bar and restaurant (you can see the slightly worn black floor with the stage), it has a modern black and wood look, public and street parking only. Fairly spacious, maybe because we were only four in the place, still nice. The service was nice too, not busy at all. As for the beers, well I knew what to expect since I've tried a few in the past, all good, so was the buckwheat saison I had that day. I only had popcorn, so I have little idea about the food menu. If it wasn't for their beers, it would be just an ok pub!

I would qualify this as an overall allright. Everything is fine, but not amazing. I think it is great place for a beer with friends more than it is for the food.

Excellent beer and food, especially enjoyed the Lion Bleu burger and local IPAs. Great experience on the patio. Good beer, took some tools to open the bottle. Food is okay, but it's all about the beer.

We walked in way past 8.30 pm on a Sunday evening and expected the kitchen to close soon. We were lucky as they close at 2 am, they had room for the 8 of us AND the food was very good. We ordered the jerk chicken salad, the soft tacos, the bavette. I was told everything was good. Myself, I had 2 starters: the onion soup and the beef and chorizo tartare. The chorizo came from Bistrot D, a local store in Chicoutimi, where I ate 3 years ago during the pandemic and it was very good. Both dishes were very good. We had the fruity beer dgustation (tasting) which was tasty. I also bought a little glass for my partner.

Had a great lunch there. One of the only places opened on a Monday. Had a great burger and tried a new local beer. Both very good. Service was good but a bit on the slow side. Who cares when you are on vacation.
