Style: Pilsner - German

This Pilsner is, at its core, a German-Style Pilsner - Dry, Blonde and Hoppy - but don't use purely German hops. The Saaz side of the Sterling hops we (mostly) use bring the grassy/spicy, and the hit of Centennial adds some orange blossom. It's a pleasantly bitter Pilsner with a honey-veiled maltiness and a nice, dry palate. This makes it more of a West Coast Pilsner.

Italian style Pilsner is a relatively new style of beer that has emerged in the past couple decades. Dry and drinkable typical of a German Pilsner, but with a light dry hop character and often unfiltered. Our Italian Pilsner uses 100% imported German malt and hops, but the Saphir hops added into the fermenter near the completion of fermentation give this beer a decidedly un-German citrusy lemongrass quality.

This light and easy-drinking beer is made with 100% local malt from @fieldfivefarm and hops grown in BC. All of the raw materials of this beer are grown and processed in our local bio region, the Salish Sea basin, and we love how this great-tasting lager both supports the community economy and lessens emissions while also maintaining the resilience of our local food chain.

We visited the Slow Hand Beer Company and were welcomed by both the very friendly and helpful staff as well as the quality and variety of the beers. Based on the top quality and diversity of the beers from Slow Hand, Boom Box, and Temporal, East Vancouver is in for a treat once they open up at their new location down the street as Threefold Brewing Collective. Highly recommended.

I haven't visited yet, but I am presently drinking an incredible dry hopped pale ale, nobody seems to make good beer anymore except these guys, I can't wait to try their west coast ipa, I make beer, so I'll spare you all from the nerdy beer talk, it's just incredible!

Stopped in here over the weekend. A chill, smaller and quaint spot. The beer I had was fantastic and the staff member was friendly and super-knowledgeable. Definitely will be coming back here again and highly recommend this place to others.

Neat little spot to try some interesting beers. Mostly lagers and pilsners but I tried a hopped version and really enjoyed it. Parking can be a challenge as well as crossing the street.
