A twist on the traditional brown style porter, a portion of malted Rye is added which gives a spicy finish. Chocolate flavours with hints of nuts and lightly roasted coffee make this a sessionable dark ale. Had planned to pop in for a beer....but the beers were so great that we had to try a few kinds. And it was an excellent Happy Hour so we had to try a pretzel with cheese sauce...which was so good that we ordered more food and made a dinner of it. Diverse menu, nice decor, great service by Ella. Will definitely be back!

_A Mixed Bag_ Gorgeous! The service? Friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the hype. I was genuinely excited to try, but they fell flat. Flavors were muted, presentation was lacking, and portions were small for the price .. feel sorry for the tip.. my wallet weeps, tho It pains me to say it because the staff was lovely and the atmosphere was spot-on. But, the food - the main event - just didn't impress. Rating:_ 2.5/5 stars Maybe I just ordered wrong, that's it.. Try it for yourself, but temper your expectations I'll stick to admiring their aesthetic, tho..

A great find in Ladner, Britannia Brewing has great tasting craft beer on tap, delicious food and spacious seating with a relaxing atmosphere. Great to sit, talk, eat or just enjoy a drink.

Where do I begin? I was having a craving for fish and chips. I found the Britannia Brewing right across the street from my location. I walked into an inviting trendy at Chic restaurant. I was met by a lovely lady and taken to a table. I'm not someone who likes to try new things and when I notice the fish and chips wasn't the typical fish and chips I was skeptical. I spoke to my waitress and she explained the dish in detail. She knows her menu. Well. I found the staff to be dressed in comfortable yet professional manner making the place feel very relaxed and inviting. I did order the fish and chips and they were the best I've ever had. The batter was not thick and over breaded nor was it greasy. The flavor was delicious! They gave me two large pieces and french fries. I love the homemade tartar sauce. I ordered a pop as well and they even brought a slice of lime in there which I thought was a nice touch. I'm especially impressed with the fact that they have three bathrooms. One is wheelchair accessible tastefully decorated. In fact the whole restaurant is tastefully decorated! I will not hesitate to go back in order to recommend this to as many people that are willing to listen.

The dog-friendly patio was surprisingly nice considering it's a repurposed parking area covered in artificial grass. Lots of potted plants, nice umbrellas for shade and good room between tables. Happy hour offered good food at great prices. The servers were friendly.
