Style: Pale Ale - New England / Hazy
ABV: 5.2 IBU: 42
A throwback to the first wave of hazy hoppy beers that had malt structure and gentle bitterness. Brewed with 100% Alberta grains and a blend of four classic hops from the Pacific Northwest. Dame Dorthey represents the spirit of a generation that came together when it mattered most and united in a selfless effort. Here's to community, to perseverance, and to our Dame Dorthey.

Style: Lager - Dark
ABV: 5.4 IBU: 25
A creamy, roasty, and smooth Czech-style dark lager. Brewed with soft water, a single decoction mash, and 100% Bohemian ingredients. In 1941, Canada's largest ammunition facility was constructed in Ajax, Ontario as part of the war effort in World War Two. This facility employed more than 7000 women from across Canada with a singular, unified mission-- to provide the fathers, husbands, and sons of the nation with enough ammunition to triumph over evil and ultimately return home. The women of Ajax worked tirelessly within this factory for years and produced over 40 million shells during the war effort to ensure their mission was a success.

Being only the second triple decocted Czech Pilsner available in Canada, it is the pinnacle evolution for our flagship Linton Stephenson Czech Pilsner. We honestly could not be happier with the final product and know you will feel the same way. This is an absolute must for any beer lover!

Style: IPA - Triple
ABV: 10 IBU: 100
Collaboration with Eighty-Eight Brewing. This beer fuses Eighty-Eight's hoppy beer mastery and Tailgunner's passion for traditional brewing techniques, in order to create what we think might be the world's first double decocted double dry-hopped triple IPA. Boasting a double decoction mash and the highest hopping rate ever attempted at Tailgunner, we kept the grain bill simple and anchored this beer with a classic hop blend of Columbus, Centennial, and Simcoe added at many points during the brewing process. Enjoy in moderation!

Style: Altbier - Traditional
ABV: 4.1 IBU: 27
An obscure malt-forward beer style from Düsseldorf, Altbier (alt means "old") shares lineage with its cousin the Kölsch in that it is fermented warm with ale yeast before being conditioned cold like a lager. Our Altbier uses 100% Bavarian ingredients, is unfined/unfiltered, naturally carbonated, and lagered for eight weeks.

This latest version of S.O.S. is a thick and juicy delight. Heaps of Citra bring all the juicy notes to the party while Galaxy balances the sweetness with a subtle grassy bite. It’s like you dropped your orange popsicle into grass clippings and continued to eat it without missing a beat, in the best possible way.

We kettle soured this beer with our favourite strain of lactobacillus before fermenting it with our house ale yeast. Then we dry-hopped it with lots of Citra. It reminds us of the best and freshest white grapefruit juice we have ever had. Sometimes simplicity is best ;)

Great ambience with dim light mood and sophisticated aesthetic. Their beers are great for good session with friends, especially their Dame Dorothy pale ale and Welcome Lager. It's also a big bonus that they also have ACME Pizza in house so you can get quality thin pizzas with your brews. Their patio is big enough to accommodate more groups. Street Parking can be tricky, especially in rush hour so plan ahead.

My wife and I visited as I was intrigued by the story of the owner's grandfather, and also by the selection of beer styles. We absolutely loved this place. The food was great, the staff was absolutely amazing and so welcoming, and the beers were top-notch. The Linton Stephenson Czech pils was most definitely the best I have had left of the Atlantic ocean, and the wheat lager was also a personal favourite. I loved everything about this place. Hands down my favourite Calgary brewery! Cheers :)
