Beer: 11/10. Service: 10/10. So why only 4 stars? The food, which tasted great, took fricken FOREVER. Let's start with the good. Very broad selection of brews. 12 on tap, tried them all, and three were absolutely phenomenal. More impressive is that those three were dramatically different types. Do yourself a favor and try the Orange Cream Ale, Lavender Shandy, and Porter. Just fantastic, and very unusual to find a brewer who can do so well and such different types of beer. I cannot state it strongly enough, these guys know how to brew. Service was great. Didn't get her name but the blonde girl at the bar was super friendly, had our drinks out very fast, got the dog a bowl of water, and helped me get a bottle ready for my baby. So all of that said, if you're in the area this place is an absolute must-stop for a drink. The bad. We ordered some chips and dip, which the bartender got out for us right away, and a poutine. The poutine, along with the rest of the real food on the menu, is made in a food truck on site. We waited a literal hour for the poutine. That is not exaggeration or hyperbole. We arrived at 1:10, ordered right away, and didn't get the poutine until about 2:15. After finishing our first drink order without any sign of the food, I even specifically asked about it when ordering my next pint, and was told it was on the way. Didn't get it for another 30 minutes. So absolutely stop here. But don't order any food that isn't on the snack menu unless you're prepared to wait a very long time. I will absolutely be back next time I'm in town, but won't be ordering food again.

We had fun at the Rival Trade Brewing Company. The service we received was very good, friendly and courteous. My husband who is gluten sensitive was able to have a wonderful tasting beer that had less gluten in it. They have a patio and welcomed our dog. The food was good pub food however it would have been very nice if they could have had a gluten free bun. The fries were delicious!

Enjoyed happy hour at rival trade. The bartenders worked to match your taste with their selections, including samples before you ordered. Really enjoyed my North Saskatchewan NEIPA. Nice community atmosphere. We brought our own snacks, although they had a few things for sale. Update-There's a food truck on site that serves burritos, poutine, hot dogs, wings and a daily lunch feature.
