Ontario Craft Brewing Awards Gold Medal Winner This blonde is proud of its roots. A selection of pale malted barley infuses with locally farmed hops to create a beer that is an eye-opener on a hot summer’s day. Light, yet defined flavours instil a sense of the hard work and drive for quality that has gone into this blonde.

Ontario Craft Brewing Awards Gold Medal Winner Don’t let the smooth appearance of this Class V IPA fool you. The hidden dangers are only found at the point of no return when the intense bitterness of this seemingly calm beer hits the back of your tongue. A light combination of malted barley, coupled with the citrus aroma of both Cascade and Centennial hops mean that Class V IPA is only for the experienced beer drinker.

Stout is kayaker lingo for what most folk would call “really darned good.” Midnight is a “stout” time to go for a paddle. Our midnight stout captures the essence of a moonlit paddle with its rich, dark taste balanced with a hoppy bitterness and oatmeal body that furthers the intensity of this bold beer.

We've blended the incredible flavours that the unique landscapes of Norway and New Zealand offer. Norway's Kveik brings subtle tropical fruit flavour to this beer. When combined with New Zealand's fruit-forward Nelson Sauvin & Motueka hops, this pale ale is anything but boring.

Whistling Paddler was inspired by the moment when you come to realize that you’ve managed to leave all the concerns of the “real world” behind. With smooth notes of caramel malt accompanied by a local cascade hop melody, that moment, and this beer, will catch you by surprise and make you think… Life is good!

Before early settlers began cultivating cranberries, they grew wild in natural bogs across Canada. As one of only a few fruits native to North America, we used cranberries to create this refreshing, thirst quenching, and uniquely satisfying cranberry sour. We introduce lactobacillus to sour the wort pre-fermentation, and then we ferment with English yeast to add a light yeast character. Finally, we finish off with a heaping helping of cranberries to create a sour that is just tart enough to cool you off on a hot summers day.

We really enjoyed both the beer and the food - was nice to finally make it to the source of one of the best sours I've ever had - Blood Moon Blood Orange sour. My partner enjoyed the High Tide NEIPA. Food was most excellent - both the tacos and the truffle fries. The only thing that brought the experience down somewhat was the patio - they really need to work on this!!! And if you don't like noise, stay away from it - I know it's the operational noises, but it was louder than I would have liked.

We drove an hour and a half to try the Whitewater Brewing Company Lakeside, after having often drank the Farmer's Daughter beer locally. First, the Lakeside naming is very misleading. We had reserved on the patio and well... I guess "container side" would be more appropriate. Unfortunately we did not have good service. The waitress was straight up unpleasant. When we arrived at the front and said we had a reservation, she just told us "just go choose a table", no smile, didn't respond to our greeting. Throughout the service, we never once had a smile or positive vibe from her. At the table next to us, the other waitress mentioned the seasonal tap and their menu of the day, which we found out about through her, after having ordered ourselves. There are a lot of flies on the patio, while I know this is mostly out of their control, might be useful to know if that something that bothers you. No issues with the food and beers, pretty good overall on that front.

We all had the burger and beer daily special. Before we started to order, our waitress Alexandra asked all of us the type of beer we appreciated. For each of us she had a suggestion which we all appreciated. I personally had the midnight stout which is absolutely wonderful. Our burgers were delicious. The service that Alexandra provided us was outstanding. She is very attentive, knows well the food and beers on the menu and eager to provide excellent service. She is an excellent ambassador for this establishment. Great food, beer and service. A must to visit if you are in Cobden area.

Been here a few times as a tradition coming out of algonquin park. I usually have a burger and fries, which is always excellent. One of the best pub burgers around. That goes for any of the burgers on the menu. They make their own ketchup which is incredible. Recently I decided to try something else on the menu, I ordered the 'Blacked chicken creole bowl'. Better than I expected, it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Spicy, a touch of sweet, flavourful, just delicious. Aside, the pub has good atmosphere, friendly staff, some of my favorite small brewery beers. The small brewpubs are everywhere these day, this one is a must to try. You won't be disappointed.

Really enjoyed Whitewater. Were visiting family in Combermere - it was a rainy dreary day so we decided to do a little road trip to the brewery. It was worth the trip. Had a flight - all the beers were well made. We shared two large poutines (ordered one for 4 and it was so good we decided to order another)! Worth the trip. Worth a visit if in the area.
