Great cozy place to get freshly brewed beer. Food was decent. Our waiter was polite and gave us lots of information so we could pick the beer we like.

We had dinner here knowing it was more snack food than full entrees. The menu online had vegetarian options but the menu there no longer had veggie tacos. I got the veggie flatbread instead but they put mozzarella on instead of the goat cheese that was on the menu. It tasted like a grade 5 cooking class made it. The manager did not charge me and seemed to be frustrated that the kitchen had no goat cheese when two of their menu items required it. On the plus side the beer (Lekker Lager) was excellent. Would have been better in a glass instead of a plastic cup! Why the beer goes in plastic and other bar drinks in glassware is perplexing. The others at my table said their dill flatbread was good and the tacos were excellent. I may come back for the beer if I get a glass. Lol.

I'm giving 3 stars only because the beer is pretty good. This place has some good qualities but is also a train wreck. The beer options are good. River Town Blonde Ale , Pinky Pledge and Thirsty Soldier were all delicious. There was only one bar tender that could actually speak about the beers. The food is mediocre. The pretzels are not actual pretzels, they are pizza dough shaped into pretzels which was a huge disappointment not to mention false advertisement. The Harvest pie flatbread was decent at best. The only hot sauce they said they had was Tabasco. Get some hot sauce Lot 10. Trust me your food needs it. As far as service goes , there wasn't much. The wait staff is young and disinterested in serving your needs. We sat with empty glasses as they walked by several times ignoring us. 2 friends joined us but saw our empty glasses and said that was enough for them to see so we all left.

You should be justifiably proud of your awards at the Ontario Brewing Awards! I've always told people your bitter is as good as any I have quaffed on this side of the Atlantic! Cheers to You!

This Brewery is small on the outside...but is much bigger when you walk in the door. Great selection of beers (6 as of yesterday). Something for all beer lovers taste palates. There is a food menu...small but adequate. Great staff(friendly & attentive), great clean building, all around a MUST visit when in Amherstburg or as local's say. The BURG! I know I will visit this gem again for sure!
