Last Ride Loganberry Saison is a tribute to the Crystal Beach Amusement Park, a waterfront destination from 1888 until the park's conclusion in 1989. For anyone familiar with the park we hope this beer may revive memories of riding the Comet and then grabbing an ice cold loganberry drink to cool off. Loganberry is one of the many things that made the Crystal Beach amusement park a unique summer destination and we taking that local drink to another level. Last Ride combines an easy drinking summer beer with a local legend – Loganberry! Pouring a dull pink colour with a slight haze this beer will grab your attention right away. Ripe berries on the nose and a taste of fresh jam on lightly toasted bread finished off with some subtle esters from the Saison yeast. We hope a little piece of local history lives on through this beer.

It's colour is a regal mahogany. A smooth drinking craft ale, it has a silky mouthfeel with a frothy head. The unique flavour creates a musical composition of rich mocha espresso, caramel, and vanilla leading into an enjoyably complex finish. A pleasant level of carbonation can reset the palate for a resonant pairing of a decadent desert or a satisfying brunch menu pairing.

With the help of one of our favourite brewers and our friends at the Piskie Pie company we brewed a clean and refreshing summer treat with fresh baked pies in the mash along with the dozen we cooled in on in the fermenter. We also added fresh strawberry and rhubarb in secondary fermentation. Pouring a pale orange with light strawberry notes on the nose this beer is balanced with the biterness of the rhubarb subdued with the sweetness of the strawberry. The malt bill has biscuit notes to mock the crust of the pie and the beer finishes very dry.

Don't sleep after drinking ‘Nutmare on Elm Street’. The aroma of this Nut Brown ale has notes of sweet chocolate with a light fruity character. The flavour gives way to a more smokey, toasty taste with hints of walnut. Oats give this beer a smooth mouth feel rounded out with a sweet finish. One, two this beer is coming for you…..

A very unique brewery being operated in a church, with friendly staff, and good beer. The food was hot and fresh, but definitely overpriced for what you get, not memorable. Good selection of beers on tap and they have beers to go on your way out.

Really cool concept but personally our group was disappointed with the beers. We got flights and tried everything on the menu but there wasn't any we would want to have again. We also expected a bit more vibrant environment but it was very quiet. The food all sounded promising on the menu but similar to the beers, disappointing when tasted. The potato salad was an exception and was quite good

I ordered the horchata beer! Definitely unique and light. The service was great! And the interior is unique. The pretzel bites with the Dijon were good as well! There I excessible street parking right infront of the brewery.

I have been to Brimstone at least a dozen times, usually with my wife prior to a show at the attached Sanctuary. It always has been a wonderful experience (with one glitch on this latest visit, the service was surprisingly poor as we were ghosted by the server more than once). The menu is small but sometimes simple is better. Most importantly though is that the food has always been delicious, and kept as local as possible. The beer selection is always good, keeping us both happy and also trying new ones they may have available. A little off the beaten path, but worth the trip in lovely Ridgeway!

Delicious and unique beers. The Loganberry Ale has a very complex, beautiful flavour and the guest tap Fairweather Grace Earl Grey and Lemon beer was exquisite. Love that it's attached to a church. Very good pretzel bites too! Cool art labels and creative names on the beer are an added plus.
