One of our goals was to create a beer that is incredibly smooth with a slightly dry finish, the other was to bring it in at 5% ABV. Is it any surprise that our most popular beer was a Bronze medal winner at the 2014 Ontario Beer Awards?

Style: Brown Ale - Other

This is our version of a full bodied brown ale. Going off the path from our lagers, we wanted to create something with a bit more character. Using roasted malts and an extra large amount of those faithful hops, this is a beer with a big taste. Rich and dark in colour, this ale is comes in at 6% ABV and leaves with a surprisingly smooth finish.

Summer by Rondeau Bay means visits to nearby orchards for the best produce in Ontario and our Orchard Cherry Lager is a perfect representation of the season’s sweet and tangy flavors. Originally brewed as a seasonal beer to pay tribute to the local cherry harvest, this beer quickly became a fan favorite, prompting us to offer it year-round. It boasts a perfect balance of sweet and tart, providing a distinct taste of Erieau that you won’t find anywhere else.
