You will get a warm, roasted aroma from the nose of this porter with underlying notes of dark chocolate and coffee. Spring is here, people, and the maple trees are flowing. Each season, we partner with a local sugar bush to craft a maple red ale. This year, we used a gorgeous amber syrup from our friends at Breedon's farm. The beer is rich with a roasted malt character and just a hint of maple sweetness. We keep the carbonation a little lower to let you focus on the complexity in the body, while the finish is clean with just enough hop character to cut through the sweetness. Avro Arrow pairs well with pancakes so enjoy it as a breakfast beer. Good morning!

Style: Smoked Beer

A twist on the longstanding Barnstormer Favorite, Smoked Billy Bishop Brown Ale is Light to dark brown, but relatively clear if visible in light. The Smoked up Bishop has a moderate off-white to tan head. The aroma is malty-sweet, with a rich, caramel or toffee-like character ending with light smoke. Very lightly fruity, with notes of dark fruits such as plums and/or raisins. The Smoked Bishop has little to no hop aroma. The Smoked Bishop has a taste of caramel- or toffee-like malty sweetness on the palate that is lasting into the finish with a light smoke trail. There is still a dark fruit complexity mixed with balanced but not overpowering smoke essense. Low to no hop bitterness.
