Before Jim was the DIPA drinking, BBQing, F1 watching, lawn cutting, all around great dad, he was a younger, sippy cup chugging, tee ball playing, dinky collecting, all around great kid!

West coast best coast was the theme for this hefty IPA. It embodies the tall trees that line the states of Oregon and California. Everything about this beer is big. It’s hoppy, it’s fruity, it’s bitter, and it’s delicious.

Atlantic Canadians are all about hospitality. We absolutely love hosting people and there's no better place to host than in your own home. Everybody hosts differently and in the end all we want is to provide a little happiness to those around us. This is the premise behind Home & Home. The beer, labels, and social media are all similar, but are presented in a way unique to the people involved. Paul & Alex both gave their takes on the label, creating beautiful works of art. We both started with the same base recipe with @2crowsbrewing adding freshly pressed grape skins and going with a higher ABV whereas Banished went straight hoppy Haze. Tessa & Jason created a beautiful storyboard to present these creations to the world over a two week period. In the end, Home & Home is a full team collaboration that represents who we are and the hospitality we strive to achieve.

Interplanetary Puffin – Double NEIPA – 8% With the exception of their annual stint in Elliston, puffins spend most of their time exploring the cosmic plane. As they age, their alcohol content slowly increases, allowing them to travel further. These puffins are considered interplanetary.

This place is seriously a vibe! The beer is now my top pick, the staff are just awesome, the outdoor patio is huge and vibrant, and walking through the brewery is such a cool experience. The can art is like pure magic, and the contents are even more incredible! I totally recommend this spot!

Stumbled on this place while Googling a spot for a quick bite after a day of exploring the Avalon Peninsula while on vacation from the US. We wanted great food but without a long wait. Decided to try Banished. So much fun!! You are actually dining in a corner of the brewery that's decorated all funky with a full bar and all of their beers on tap. You place your order at the bar (bartender was so much fun!), then they bring your food to your table. We both got their smash bacon/cheese burgers with fries. THEY WERE SO TASTY!! We LOVED them. Lots of great caramelization on the beef, nice brioche bun, fries were yummy and tasted fresh (not out of a bag from a freezer). Service was so friendly and fast! They had great music playing, the crowd was lively, and looking around I noticed that everyone was happy and having a great time. If we lived anywhere near this place it would be a weekly stop for us. SO FUN! Give them a try!

Always a great experience when we stop in to Banished. The beer selection never disappoints, and even had the opportunity to have a good chat with one of the owners Tom to give us a run down on the current selection of brews and upcoming partnerships. Truly impressed with their recent Paddles Up partnership, and the beer is great too! Also, their merchandise is a great take home piece. See you again soon.

Love it when I come into a brewery and smell beer brewing. Not everyone likes that smell, but as a home brewer it's a welcoming aroma. Our first time here, nice selection of beers brewed here and other breweries. Nice tap room and they are expanding to have a beer garden. Ample parking, it is an industrial area, but there are trees and a lake in the near distance to give it a natural feel.

beers were good, though tastes on the lighter side. food was overpriced and not worth the small portion sizes. wall mural was really cool. tl;dr: come for the beer, not the food.
