What Cheer House was the name of a saloon in Derby that was dismantled and rebuilt just outside the palisades of Fort Langley in 1860. It was renamed BC Liquor Company but we think What Cheer is a much better way to describe a great place for social gathering and a perfect name for this beer. This IPA features aromas of tropical fruit & orange. Brewed using a cornucopia of hops and Brettanomyces, a wild yeast strain, this unique & wonderful beer will delight your senses and leave your palette refreshed.

This ale is made by blending two separate beers together in order to establish a balance between the flavours of tart cherry and spiced plum. Owyhee is an older English spelling for Hawaii. Many workers at the fort were from Hawaii, known then as the Sandwich Islands. Hawaiians were renowned for the skills in handling canoes and batteaux, and for being good swimmers, which helped save the lives of many Frenchman. A cross between an IPA and American style wheat ale, this delicious beer features an ocean of malt rolling in on waves of tropical fruit. With notes of citrus, mango, and pineapple, you’ll feel like you’re sipping beer on a remote tropical island. Sit back and enjoy.

I love coming here everytime we visit Fort Langley. Dining here last night with my family was such a joy! We really loved the food we ordered like the Fort Sandwich, Soup, Salad and Bread, Blackened Chicken and Pasta, Cheeseburger and Truffle Fries, Yam Fries. Our server was really attentive to our table. It's busy here on the weekends but nice place to eat with delicious foods.

My husband discovered this place during our visit to Fort Langley, and it was a fantastic find! We ordered a couple of beers and two burgers (The Canadiana and The Terra Burger). Everything was absolutely deliciousthe meat was juicy, the fries were perfectly crispy, and the veggies tasted fresh and flavorful. I want to give special praise to The Terra Burger's magnificent flavor profile; the balsamic added a unique and delightful touch. Great service, a wonderful atmosphere, and outstanding foodI highly recommend this spot!

We ordered a French onion soup as our starter. Chicken wings, poutine, and Nashville hot chicken sandwich with sweet potato french fries for our mains. All the food tasted good. The service was great. The atmosphere was nice, but a bit cold despite being under the heat lamp on the patio. Would recommend their food - good little spot!

First time coming here after hearing great things about it. I tried the TP Classic burger with yam fries. The burger was juicy, fresh, tasty. It was big so it was hard to bite lol. I was not a fan of the bun, kept falling apart. The yam fries and dip, was delicious! They sure know how to do the dip! Paired with an Amber Ale and what a meal! Friendly, family place, loved the inside sitting are, comfy, warm, relaxing. Our server Katie, friendly, courteous with a genuine smile!
