Atmosphere was great, the girl running the bar was amazing. I love there was cards/ board games to play! Such a cute place to go for a drink before the ferry!

Lovely brewery! You're welcome to bring your own food and dogs are welcome on the patio and in their Beer Garden. Beer garden is just behind the brewery; family friendly, pet friendly and lots of shade/privacy. Beers are fantastic, staff is incredibly friendly and overall it's always a fantastic time. There's no view of the ocean, but the greenness and the openness of the Beer Garden very much makes up for it. Great spot to relax and have a beer on a sunny afternoon!

Very easygoing brewery. Something I would recommend to others- especially for a visit to the brewery cat, Wanda. Can bring your own food and dogs into the brewery, and the cocktail I tried was delicious (passionfruit calamansi with vodka). Would definitely come back

Lovely brewery visit in Powell River. We enjoyed our flights and appreciated the play area and all the arcade and board games for our families. Beer was delicious with a great variety to try. The staff seemed absolutely miserable from the moment we walked in which really spoiled the overall experience and why I would take a star off the review. They were so grumpy and irritated when we needed a moment to decide on our flights (no one else was there waiting to order either). Hopefully it was just a bad day and we will have a better service experience next time

  • Perfect Storm Oatmeal Stout

    Style: Stout - Oatmeal

    ABV: 5.5    IBU: 30

DEFINITION: 1. what happens when the perfect mix of people come together to form a brewery; 2. a delicious oatmeal stout We’ve got a truly great team here at Townsite and every day we are thankful that we get to work with each other producing some really great beer. As Chloe is often heard to remark, ‘What we have here is a perfect storm: from brewing, to sales, to distribution & marketing.’ To celebrate this serendipity, Cédric has brewed up the perfect storm of a beer: a rich, round, roasty oatmeal stout using flaked oats and roasted barley to add to our house roast malts (Chocolate and Crystal) and hopped with Columbus, Cascade and Golding.

Our house beers are brewed in homage to the people that work, live, and play here.

  • Zwarte Black Wit

Style: Wheat Beer - Witbier / Blanche

Pairs well with spot prawns: peel, eat and enjoy! Good to know: We are lucky enough to have the only Belgian born Brewing Engineer in all of BC at the helm. This dark witbier has become a signature brew of his and should be considered in all locations where craft beer is available.

  • Bière D'Hiver

    Style: Belgian Dubbel

    ABV: 7.5    IBU: 29

Comforting winter stews beside a roaring fire are just the ticket with this beer. • Charleston

    Style: Belgian Tripel

    ABV: 9    IBU: 34

So many people asked Cédric to bring back Charleston, the first beer he brewed for the Hulks Series, that he finally agreed to bring it back as a seasonal; however, he made it just a little bit different. This Charleston (Charleston 2.0, if you will) has a soft & creamy mouth-feel, complemented by a nice hop bitterness and 9.0% alcohol. Essentially, everything you want in a beer and then some!

  • Passionfruit Gose

    Style: Sour - Traditional Gose

    ABV: 5.5    IBU: 20

Flavour Profile: A sour, salted wheat based fruit beer, for those days you need to tell the ocean what you really think. Living on the shores of the Salish Sea has us feeling salty! You know what we mean; wind in your hair, screaming at the waves, salty. This beer is brewed for that feeling. A soured wheat beer base with a sea salt addition in the kettle and passion fruit puree in the bright tank. Pronounced goes-uh, little is known about this style of beer. It originated in the Eastern German town of Goslar over 1000 years ago. The salinity appears to have been a natural phenomenon of the Gose river. Today sea salt is used to obtain a similar flavour profile. The rise in popularity of all beers sour has brought this style back to life to which we should PROST!

  • YOGN82

    Style: Belgian Tripel

    ABV: 9    IBU: 40

YOGN 82 being our most sought after of the Hulk series releases, we decided to bring this one back for the winter season! Flavour profile: Beautiful floral hop nose from the Styrian Golding hops. This beer is a citrus gem with a nice thick head on top. With less boozy aromas than the Charlston Triple this beer should be handled with care, you won't see the 9.0% ABV coming until it's too late! Good to konw: YOGN 82 was sunk in the summer of 2018 as the first ship in the creation of an artificial reef just off the shores of Willingdon Beach in Powell River. More ships are destined to join YOGN on the ocean floor, but which is next remains a secret at this point!
