An unusually dry and refreshing take on the Porter style. Notes of espresso and dark chocolate make this beer dark & delightful, while its crisp hop 'snap' keeps it from being too heavy. Enjoy this beer on its own, or with roasted lamb, blue cheese & dates or anything chocolatey.

In days past, many British pubs contained a small, very private room called a 'Snug', reserved for special clientele. Brewed in the honor of the much loved Snug at Victoria's Oak Bay Beach Hotel, this British-style IPA features a flavourful balance of crisp hop bitterness & delicate caramel sweetness.

In 1745 at the Oakley Arms in England there was the first recorded meeting of an Odd Fellows Lodge. A fraternal brotherhood was born , a family of Odd Fellowship dedicated to 'visit the sick , relieve the distressed , bury the dead and educate the orphan.' A secret society who's members walk amongst us today and are dedicated to their community , country and fellow mankind. The Odd Fellow IPA celebrates the Odd Fellow English heritage with a British style IPA. Bold yet easy to drink this beautifully balanced 'session' IPA pays homage to a proud tradition of the Odd Fellows.

This full bodied West Coast IPA conjures up a chorus of bold, resinous hop varieties balanced with subtle stone fruit flavours that linger on the palate. Pouring slightly cloudy with a billowing white head, “Windswept” is a tribute to west coast island living. #westcoastbestcoast

Went here to meet another 4p family, had a flight and played some games. Good vibes, mix of locals and tourists. Very friendly bartender with a knack for knitting cool stuff! Beer was good, I hit up a lot of breweries and appreciate having some seasonal options to round out the regular fare. They had a mango sour that was lovely and would be the perfect hot day drink. Friends liked the ipa/lager/darks that were tasty and predictable (not in a bad way). Heated tasting room is small/mid size - would sit ~20 people. Kid friendly. No prepared food but bagged local snacks available. If you're hungry-hungry make sure to grab food before you go - aside from a few farm stands there's nothing out there. Outside tables technically wheelchair accessible - but the gravel path is a bit steep to get to them. There's a portal potty outside that is not wheelchair accessible but there may be other options I didn't see. Lower area definitely stroller friendly. There are at least 5 tables sprinkled into little nooks outside and a covered area that is less scenic but dry with 4-6 tables. So consider going in a rainy day and you should be fine to get a seat, just dress warm in case you end up outside. Bonus: if it is rainy the whole space smells like a dry cedar sauna. Amazing. Love the weather coast and easy availability of cedar beams, count me jelly.

It's a cool local brewery where you can relax and enjoy flights. They offer a range of beers from light wheat to stout and extra special bitter. It's a must-visit for beer lovers. Personally, I wish they had a wider selection of fruity flavors or sour beers, though.

A great place to chill, with a very cool indoor space, a nice patio and breezy spots for outdoor tables. I like the Heather Pale Ale the best.

We did a stop here as part of a test run for a new Saltspring Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour offering. A very interesting place in a great locations. The old barn style tasting room was excellent and cosy. there was outside seating amongst the trees, and we were lucky enough to have a tour of the "outside" fermenting/brewing area and tented canning station. The beers were interesting but nothing was a real standout. Given the environment and ambiance though, I would recommend coming here trying one of everything and just looking around and relaxing. Note that mobility challenged individuals would have issues with the entire site as it is hilly, uneven, and there are stairs. .

We walked here from Garry Oaks. Little bit of a hike, with a happy ending. Plenty of seating, inside & out, covered and open. We had a couple beer flights, 2 ciders, and some chips. A pleasant break after a 3km jaunt.
