Style: Belgian Strong Golden Ale
ABV: 8.6 IBU: 25
Brewed using an ancient yeast strain cultivated in the Ardennes region of Belgium, this beer is a modern take on a classic style. A powerful ripe fruit aroma with peppery undertones complemented by the earthy, slightly citrus flavors of Magnum and Saaz hops will both refresh the palate and warm the soul.

No matter the season, our Amber ale is a fine choice. Its nutty malt aroma provides just enough sweetness to stand up to its mild earthy bitterness. Like a welcome autumn breeze on your cheeks, this beer both refreshes and invigorates.

This is a unique and easy to find brewery just outside downtown Calgary. It's got a great tap room and a patio that looks out to the bustle of Centre Street. Uniquely, this is the only microbrewery I have found in Calgary which focuses on the Belgian style of beers, which are easy to drink and flavourful. The Golden Strong was my favourite personally.

Amazing beer. Tried the flight and was a big fan of Training Wheels and Pulp Fiction. Not a fan of the Purple Drank, but maybe it'll be your jam if you enjoy grape cheese board was good!

Neat little brewery with cozy patio & inside seatings. They specialize in Belgian and German beers, and I LOVE the flights they offer - you can pick from German, Belgian, or rotating limited editions. I liked that they have pre-set flight options, and the servings are very generous :-) their Oktoberfest beer, Fest in Show, was my favorite. Would definitely be back!

My go-to brewery in all of Calgary. It's a nook on center street with a good vibe and patio looking at the center street action. They seasonal beers that are a guaranteed adventure with all their neat ways of re-defining beer. No one really does Belgian beers so its a nice change to get those beers without the import premium costs. I always feel taken care of here and grab some to-go beers when I visit.

When they say local, they mean it. Really great people fantastic beer and food that fits the beer. They have a unique small barrel brewing process that really allows them to bring out the best in their ingredients. Love the beer flight they suggested especially the ANO PICANTE and a very dog friendly Patio - what more could you ask for?
