Bold flavours of citrus, pine and over-ripe fruit balanced with a gentle bitterness and malt profile. In 1982, Gary Johnson and Dave Dubeta began construction on a million dollar waterslide project on Lakeshore Drive. Named through a competition, the Wild Rapids Waterslide opened with four main tower slides, three smaller slides for children, and a hot tub. Eventual additions included the infamous Sidewinder slide.

Style: Stout - Milk / Sweet

A rich stout brewed with lactose, coffee, and vanilla. If you wanted to enjoy a cold beverage in the heat of summer before power came to Sylvan Lake in 1932, chances are you’d have been a patron of Bill and Flo Brown’s ice cutting business. Using a buzz saw and a small horsepower motor, the Browns cut blocks of ice from the frozen lake in winter, stored them in sawdust, and delivered them door-to-door in wooden boxes from the 3/4 ton truck.

Style: Pilsner - German

ABV: 5    IBU: 25

Immensely quaffable, with a snappy noble hop character and crisp finish. Early settlers knew Sylvan Lake as Snake Lake, taken from the Cree name “Kinabik.” Garter snakes would swarm around its shores, especially at Jarvis Bay. As the human population grew, the snakes gradually disappeared. In 1903, the town’s name was officially changed to Sylvan Lake.

Named after our head brewer Octavio, this NE Style IPA is brewed with flake maize, tortilla chips, lime zest and sea salt! Double dry hopped with ekuanot and citra and vic secret.

Spanning from the early 1930’s well into the late 50’s, on any given weekend the stage at Varsity Hall was home to the sounds of smooth jazz and noteworthy big bands. This West coast style red ale has a sturdy biscuit malt character and hopped heavily with Citra, Columbus, and Cascade.

A Northeast Double IPA brewed for the One Year of Beer anniversary with Vic Secret, Azacca and Ekuanot. With a dank tropical fruit aroma and a punchy flavor. Drink too much, and end up in your birthday suit.

Using a pillowy soft water profile to enhance drinkability, this DIPA showcases tons of tropical fruit flavour including pineapple and mango with hints of white grape. We jam packed as many hops into it as we could from New Zealand, Australia and the United States. The result is an aromatic, juicy beauty of a beer.

Luscious and nutty with notes of milk chocolate. Brewed with predominantly British roasted and specialty malts and English yeast. We're happy to carry on the longstanding culture of pubs (or "public houses") as places to gather, play, and take refuge - while indulging in a pint or two of course! For as long as pubs have thrived as community hubs, "mild" beers have been on tap. Modern milds and distinguished by their typical dark colour, predominantly malty flavour, and an ABV between 3-3.6%

Norglenwold, the first Summer Village to be established on Sylvan Lake in 1965, borrows its name from a few early subdivisions: Northey Point, Glen-Innes, and Whitewold Beach. The area was once home to a Navel Cadet Camp (est. 1919) and seasonal cabins date back to the 1920s and '30s. A balanced West Coast IPA with an assertive citrus and pine aroma.
